NEW CANEY ISD 2012-2013 ENROLLMENT
- New Caney ISD Cafeteria plan year is September 1, 2012 through August 31, 2013. National Benefit Services (NBS) is the Administrator of the Flex Accounts. The fee for the flex card is being paid for by your broker. Replacement for lost or stolen cards is your responsibility. Once you have your NBS card, please do not throw away. The card is good for 3 years and can be reloaded with your new election. IMPORTANT: These accounts are “USE IT OR LOSE IT.” Plan your contributions carefully! - NEW! MEDlink medical supplement is being offered this year. This plan pays benefits to offset doctor visits and deductibles for participants of Active Care 1 and Active Care 1 HD. For plan information click on Benefits & Forms/ MEDlink. For a video with additional information, please click here.
- Guardian is the dental provider for New Caney ISD employees, effective 9/1/12. Guardian dental offers a PPO plan and a DHMO plan for your selection. For plan and rate information click on Benefits & Forms / Dental.
- Superior Vision The vision plan carrier is Superior Vision effective 9/1/2012. Rates and plan design information is available to you by looking at Benefits & Forms / Vision.
- Unum Disability Educator Select income Protection Plan is offered to employees of New Caney ISD. During the annual enrollment period, employees can increase or add disability coverage without providing evidence of insurability! New coverage amounts or changes are subject to pre-existing condition limitations. See plan information under the Benefits & Forms for details on plan options and benefit changes.
- NEW! Loyal American the cancer carrier for New Caney ISD and is offering a “group” cancer plan that is guarantee issue. This new group plan does not require you to complete an application, but it does have a 12 month “pre-existing” exclusion condition period.
